Job Description
We are seeking a talented Social Media Manager who is not only experienced in managing social media platforms but also skilled in graphic design. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Canva and Loomly, and will be responsible for creating engaging content, managing our online presence, and helping to grow our brand’s visibility.
Key Responsibilities
- Content Creation: Develop visually appealing and on-brand content using Canva for social media posts, stories, banners, and other digital assets
- Social Media Management: Plan, schedule, and manage posts across multiple social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, Pinterest, TikTok, LinkedIn) using Loomly
- Brand Voice: Ensure all content aligns with our brand’s voice, tone, and messaging
- Engagement: Monitor social media channels, respond to comments and messages, and engage with our online community
- Analytics: Track and analyze the performance of social media campaigns, providing regular reports and insights for optimization
- Collaboration: Work closely with the marketing team to align social media strategies with overall business goals
- Trend Monitoring: Stay up-to-date with the latest social media trends, tools, and best practices to ensure our brand remains relevant and competitive
- Graphic Design: Create custom graphics, infographics, and other visual content that enhances our social media presence and marketing campaigns
Qualifications
- 1-2 years proven working experience as a Social Media Manager or similar role
- Strong graphic design skills with a portfolio showcasing your work
- Proficiency in Canva and familiarity with Loomly
- Talent for creating content aligned with both the brand style and targeted marketing strategies
- Excellent communication skills with ability to write compelling copy
- Ability to create engaging and visually appealing content that resonates with our target audience
- Expert knowledge of social media marketing channels and best practices for each
- Experience with social media analytics and tools
- Creative thinker with attention to detail and strong organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Preferred Qualifications:
- In-depth understanding of how images and design fit together with social media marketing and the importance of images in advertising
- Ability to produce engaging visual graphics
- Experience capturing stills and videos to leverage for social media marketing campaigns
- Proficiency overlaying music and graphics over images
- Experience in the professional organizing or interior design industry
- Knowledge of additional graphic design software (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite)
- Basic video editing skills
Education
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- BSc qualification in marketing, communications (or similar)
Additional Requirements
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Ability to pass a background check and provide at least (3) three professional references
- Availability to work flexible hours
Earning Potential
- Compensation starts at $20/hr with opportunities for advancement
