We are seeking a dedicated and meticulous Cleaning & Sanitation Technician to ensure that our clients’ spaces are not only organized but also immaculately clean and sanitized. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness, and the ability to work effectively in various residential and commercial environments.
Key Responsibilities
Comprehensive Cleaning:
- Perform thorough cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, and surface cleaning in client spaces
- Clean and sanitize restrooms, kitchens, offices, living areas, and other designated spaces
- Ensure all high-touch surfaces are regularly disinfected to maintain a healthy environment
Organizing Support:
- Assist the organizing team with decluttering and arranging items in a logical and accessible manner
- Provide support in setting up efficient storage solutions as directed by the professional organizers
Sanitation Protocols:
- Use appropriate cleaning agents and disinfectants to ensure all areas meet sanitation standards
- Follow established cleaning protocols to prevent the spread of germs and contaminants
- Handle and dispose of waste, including hazardous materials, according to safety regulations
Equipment and Supply Management:
- Operate and maintain cleaning equipment such as vacuum cleaners, steam cleaners, and floor buffers
- Keep an inventory of cleaning supplies and notify the supervisor of any shortages or restocking needs
Client Interaction:
- Communicate professionally and courteously with clients to understand their specific cleaning and organizing needs
- Ensure client satisfaction by addressing any concerns or specific requests promptly
Safety and Compliance:
- Adhere to all health and safety guidelines, using personal protective equipment (PPE) as required
- Comply with OSHA and other relevant safety regulations to ensure a safe working environment
Qualifications
Education:
- High school diploma or equivalent required
Experience:
- Previous experience in professional cleaning, janitorial services, or sanitation roles preferred
- Familiarity with a variety of cleaning products, tools, and equipment
Skills:
- Strong attention to detail and thoroughness in executing cleaning tasks
- Ability to follow instructions and work independently or as part of a team
- Good physical stamina and the capability to perform repetitive tasks and lift up to 50 pounds
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Earning Potential
- Compensation starts at $18/hr with opportunities for advancement
